Sorry for the radio silence the last couple of weeks. I recently took a little time off from work (and away from internet connectivity) to regroup and enjoy the pleasures and the slow pace of deep Southern summer. Having returned, however, I have been amazed at the number of people who have asked when I’ll be posting again.
I continue to be surprised at the enthusiasm for the material we’re writing about here, and I continue to be grateful for all of the affirmation and support. Seeing that enthusiasm, I am even more energized about getting the word out about our blog and finding ways to create a community of lawyers who are genuinely interested in having conversations around what really matters in our lives and the ways in which (in the middle of our crazy work world) we can find ways become present to all that is available to us.
So, please, please recommend our blog to your friends, family and colleagues. What we talk about here will resonate not only with lawyers, but also with those who have some kind of relationship with a lawyer (which today, is just about everyone).
I have lots of stuff in the hopper, so stay tuned for more frequent posts. And, by all means, feel free to reply with comments about anything we’re talking about. I want this to be real conversation, not a monologue.
Until then, I leave you with this quote from Howard Thurman:
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
Here’s to discovering what it is that makes you feel most alive…
